My 2 year old is hilarious. Most parents THINK their child is the funniest kid in town. I know it. Sully constantly surprises us with the things he says. A few examples:
Me-Sully, will you please put your spoon in the dishwasher?
Sully-Yes. Easy peasy.
After taking a drink of something cold..."Ahhh...recreshing!" (refreshing!)
When surprised..."O. My. GOODNESS!"
I sat on a chair he wanted to sit on, and he said, "Scoot toot!" while pushing my booty out of his way.
Sully-What's up, homie?
When the coffee pot gurgles, "Coffee Monster!"
The list goes on, but this is not the best part of my 2 year old's talking hilarity! This comes in his pronunciation. I've even started a fun little game on facebook called "Guess What Sully's Saying!". How to play: I spell Sully's pronunciation phonetically and you guess what he's saying.
Give it a try! (The answers are below.)

DIY Pet Bed
Well, see this one wasn't exactly one pin, but TWO pins put together! I found this cute floor cushion for kiddos and this cute pet bed, and decided that it was cheaper to make the cute floor cushion as a dog bed because our dog is HUGE! This is what came from that combo:
It's not pretty, but I can remove the pillows and WASH IT! That, to me, is more important than looks. Especially since we have a 120lb shed machine and his bed is in the corner of our room so no one sees it!
We melted Pony Beads today. Didn't know you could do that? ME neither! But, you can, and we did! We actually melted glow-in-the-dark beads. We used this method, then I drilled holes in them and strung them up with hemp. They are hanging in my son's room.
I apologize for the yucky picture. It was difficult to get a close up without my flash because it kept moving. I think the most unexpected thing when doing this project was that when they were done, they sound like glass when they clink together. They would make a super cool wind chime... maybe in the Spring!
Nada...again. But, I made up for it by extending the Challenge for one more day!
Yum. Blue Moon and Bourbon are two of my hubby's faves, and since the 29th was his birthday I decided beer cupcakes were in order! Blue Moon Cupcakes and Bourbon Chocolate Cupcakes. They were delicious. That absolutely sums it up. They were delicious. They were also easy to make! My two year old helped me make them from scratch if that tells you anything!
No pics of the finished products, but I can tell you I didn't have time to make the icing in the recipes, so I used vanilla from the tub. It was good. Very good. :)
Day 30-Oct 1:
This was a compilation of a few cute kids Halloween art ideas I saw on Pinterest.
That's it! Well, actually, I made a few other fun Pinterest inspired crafts in October, but I don't have pics and I don't remember the days I did them on so I'll leave them out.
I must say, I feel pretty accomplished at the end of The Pinterest Challenge. I had fun trying lots of new things, and I got a lot of fun new ideas for the boys going too. The pipe cleaners in the strainer are now a go-to quiet activity in our house! I'm working on a few other Pinterest inspired ideas, and hopefully I'll get to share them on here soon! Until then, goodnight. I must go snuggle my boy!
